Dear Subscriber

I hope you are very well and enjoying the Christmas prep!

Here are two fantastic programmes to listen to for studying well annunciated and clearly understood spoken English: one is hilarious (I love good comedy) and the other serious and sensitive, beautifully written and acted, about how Rachmaninov, after terrible hopelessness, was again, able to compose.

Both programmes last about 30 mins and can be listened to whilst you’re cleaning the kitchen!

Or, of course, you could lie on your bed and relax, whilst pleasantly studying…

Here are the links: Mr and Mrs Smith (don’t worry that it’s the last episode of series) ~ it’s extremely funny for a first time listener, as I was…)

And Rachmaninov  – wonderful.

I hope you all really enjoy the programmes and I look forward to seeing you soon.

Best wishes, Rachel
