I hope you are keeping warm & enjoying the festive buildup!

For improving your elocution, public speaking, clarity of speech and excellent enunciation, please listen to this fifteen minute radio programme – which you can download easily from the link provided below.

Every day this week and next, on Radio 4, at 9.45am,  Penelope Wilton – who speaks beautifully and clearly  (you will recognize her voice from Downton Abbey) is reading aloud Penelope Fitzgerald’s Human Voices.

This is extremely pleasant ‘elocution & public speaking’ homework as it is a great ‘listen’ because Penelope Fitzgerald’s story is compelling and Penelope Wilton’s ‘read’ is measured and empathetic in a rather stoic sort of way!

I do hope you enjoy it: to keep one’s speech clear and well enunciated, it is very important to listen regularly to excellent speakers.

Best wishes and I look forward to seeing you in person; or on Skype or via  Facetime – both screen options work just as well as in person – so you can stay warm, with your own favourite tea  and still progress onwards & upwards!
