BBC Sounds Radio Four Drama
BBC Sounds Radio Four Drama broadcasted a dramatised version of a collection of stories called, The Barchester Chronicles, on Sundays at 3pm and the production was brilliant.
Listening to good radio drama, on BBC Sounds Radio Four, is a fantastic way to learn elocution, public speaking and effective speaking, because actors know, that whatever accent they are doing, if the audience doesn’t understand every word they say when doing radio, the audience will not enjoy it, or even be able to fully follow the plot!
So in a very good production like this, the diction is tip top.
And listening to well annunciated English, in whatever dialect, is extremely helpful to improve your own.
The scripts are well written and the acting is superb.
